A fragrant onion pie by Grandpa Tassos

Easy, tasty and Vegan


  1. In a bowl place the lukewarm water, sugar, yeast, olive oil, flour, corn flour and mix for 2 minutes. Allow to rest at room temperature for half an hour

  2. Preheat the oven to 180 degrees Celsius with the fan off

  3. Chop the onions into slices, finely chop the spring onions and dill and place them all in a bowl, season with salt and pepper, add olive oil and mix well.

  4. Place the filling in the dough and mix well

  5. Empty the dough into an oiled pan or a tray

  6. Bake for 1 hour on the bottom shelf


300 g all-purpose flour

100 g corn flour

300 ml of lukewarm water

1 teaspoon dry yeast

1 teaspoon of sugar

10 g of salt

3 tbsp olive oil

2 large onions

3 spring onions

1 small Bunch of dill

Salt + pepper
