Super easy and with no yeast!


  1. Preheat the oven at 180° Celsius with the fan on

  2. Beat the eggs with the sugar until foamy

  3. Add the salt and baking powder, beating on low speed

  4. Gradually add the flour

  5. As soon as the dough is done, divide it into the molds

  6. Bake for 30 minutes or until cooked

  7. Take them out and let them cool

  8. Boil all the ingredients of the syrup, except the rum, for 5 minutes and remove from the heat

  9. Add the rum and let it cool

  10. Beat the cream with the vanilla until stiff

  11. Syrup the cakes, turn them over and leave 5 minutes to ansorb the syrup

  12. Cut lids and fill with whipped cream

  13. Decorate with whipped cream and a cherry or whatever you want


For 18-20 pieces

5 eggs

1 glass of sugar (200g)

1 ½ cups All Purpose Flour (250g)

1 baking powder (16g)

2 vanilla pods

For the syrup

2.5 glasses of sugar (500g)

3 glasses of water (700 ml)

50 ml of rum

Lemon peel

For the whipped cream

300 ml cream

1 vanilla pod

1 tbsp powdered sugar
