Tastes good hot and cold and is vegan.
Method
Pass the boiled chickpeas through the food processor and place them in a deep bowl.
Add the boiled fava beans and all the other ingredients.
Form walnut-sized meatballs
Arrange on a tray covered with breadcrumbs.
Sprinkle breadcrumbs on top and shake them back and forth to cover evenly.
Fry them in hot oil until they turn pink and place on a plate lined with kitchen paper.
You can enjoy them hot or cold.
Ingredients
1 cup fava beans (190 g) boiled
1 cup of dry chickpeas (190 g)
Soaked and boiled
1 roasted Florini pepper
1 fresh onion
1 tbsp fresh thyme
1 tbsp fresh mint
2 tablespoons of flour
1 tbsp sweet paprika
½ .c. cumin
1 tbsp baking soda
2 tbsp salt
1/2 tsp. bukovo (optional)
For the topping:
½ cup breadcrumbs
oil for frying
