A cake in honor of Saint Phanourius.
Method
Place the sugar and seed oil in a bowl and stir until the sugar dissolves.
Preheat the oven at 180 degrees Celcius with the fan off.
Dissolve the bicarbonated soda in the orange juice, add them to the bowl and mix.
Add the cinnamon, cloves, flour, walnuts and raisins and mix well.
Place the dough in a round pan on baking paper and bake for 40 to 45 minutes.
Let it cool and decorate it with icing sugar, walnuts and raisins.
Ingredients
3 cups self-raising flour (390 g)
1 cup sugar (200 g)
1 cup orange juice (250 ml)
2/3 cup seed oil (160 ml)
1 teaspoon baking soda (baking soda)
1 1/2 tsp cinnamon
1 teaspoon grated clove
1/2 cup walnuts (80g)
1/2 cup raisins (80-100 g)
