Feta Pasta Saganaki, the ultimate Greek flavor

  Method  

  1. Crumble two thirds of the feta

  2. Cut the rest of the feta into thin slices

  3. Finely chop the hot pepper

  4. Add olive oil and the whole garlic halved in a pan

  5. Add the cherry tomatoes and sauté over medium heat until they wither

  6. In a saucepan with salted water, boil the pasta

  7. Remove the garlic from the pan, peel it and chop it finely

  8. Turn on the oven on the grill at 200 degrees Celsius

  9. Press the cherry tomatoes a little with the ladle to melt and add the feta, thyme, oregano, garlic and hot pepper.

  10. Bring to a boil until the feta is melted and add the boiled pasta.

  11. Mix well and if necessary add a little water from the pot in which we cooked the spaghetti

  12. Empty the pasta into a pyrex and cover with the feta that you cut into slices.

  13. Sprinkle with a little olive oil and oregano. Place whole cherry tomatoes for decoration and bake on the top shelf for 10 minutes.

  Ingredients  

400 g pasta of your choice                                                                   

700 g feta cheese                                                                                                     

900 g cherry tomatoes + 6 pieces for deco                                                                              

5 g fresh or 2 tsp dried oregano                                                                             

5 g fresh thyme or 2 tsp dried                                                                           

1 bulb of garlic                                                                                                        

olive oil for frying                                                                                                                  

1 hot pepper (optional)                                                                           

salt + pepper
