Fast, easy and packed with orange flavor


  1. Put all the ingredients for the syrup in a saucepan and boil for only 3 minutes. Let it cool.

  2. Preheat the oven at 180 degrees with the fans off

  3. Place the eggs and sugar in a bowl and stir for 2 minutes.

  4. Add the oil, orange juice and zest.

  5. Mix the baking powder in the flour and sift them into the mixture. Mix well

  6. Place it in a baking tray with baking paper

  7. Bake for 45 minutes.

  8. As soon as it comes out of the oven, Laddle the cold syrup on the hot dessert

For the syrup

210 ml orange juice (1 cup)

50 g sugar (4-5 tbsp)

1 cinnamon stick

For the dough

270 g all-purpose flour (2 cups)

2 eggs

185g sugar (1 cup)

150 ml sunflower oil (3/4 cup)

210 ml orange juice (1 cup)

15 g baking powder (1 tbsp)

1 tbsp orange zest


150 g of orange jam with pieces

2 cl orange liqueur

Measuring cup content 210 ml
