Method
Put the sugar and water in a saucepan and let it boil
After 6 minutes of boiling, lower the heat and add the citric acid
Turn off the heat and add the rose water
Stir and let cool
In a bowl, mix all the ingredients after you pass them through a sief
Stir well with the whisk until smooth
Place the dough in a piping bag
Put the oil in a saucepan and fry the donuts
As soon as you take them out of the oil, put them in cold syrup and stir them to absorb it
At the end drizzle a little honey on top
Ingredients
For the dough:
300 g all-purpose flour
10 ml sunflower oil
1 sachet of instant yeast (8 g)
30 g cornstarch
40 g powdered sugar
½ tsp baking powder
1 pinch of salt
330 ml warm water (approx. 40°C)
For the syrup:
750 g granulated sugar
300 ml water
¼ teaspoon citric acid (or a slice of lemon)
1 tablespoon rose water
Vegetable oil for frying
