Pasta-less lasagna with courgettes

Without pasta, or Bechamel sauce


  1. I turn on the oven on the grill

  2. Cut the zucchini into long narrow slices, oil them, salt them and place them on a grill on the top shelf to get color

  3. Finely chop the spices, garlic and onions

  4. Place the minced meat in the pan and let it drink all its liquids

  5. Preheat the oven to 180 ° C on the heating elements

  6. Add the olive oil and the onions and sauté until they wither

  7. Add the garlic and after half a minute quench with the wine

  8. Add the pulp, the two paprika and the thyme and sauté for another minute

  9. Add the crushed tomatoes, oregano, salt and pepper

  10. Lower the heat, cover and boil for 10 minutes

  11. In a bowl, whisk the fresh cream cheese with the milk, the sour cream, the walnuts, the nutmeg and the pepper.

  12. Layer everything in a baking tray by placing a layer of zucchini, a minced meat and a cream, repeating until the ingredients are used up, finishing with the mince.

  13. Place mozzarella and grated cheese on top

  14. Bake for 50 minutes


1 kg courgettes (zucchini)

500 g ground beef

1 large onion (250 g)

2 spring onions

3 cloves of garlic

1 can (400 g) of chopped tomatoes 

½ glass of water

½ glass of red wine (80 ml)

200 g cream cheese 

200 g sour cream

100 ml whole milk

150 g cheese for topping

50 g parmesan  

120 g mozzarella cheese (optional)

1 tablespoon tomato paste (25 g)

3 tablespoons olive oil

1 tablespoon oregano

1 tablespoon fresh thyme

1 small bunch of chopped parsley

1 tbsp. sweet paprika (8 g)

1 tsp smoked paprika (5 g)  

nutmeg a little

salt and pepper

bake for 50 minutes at 180°C (without fan)
