The miraculous drink that everyone loved on cold winter days! See here the authentic recipe prepared by Grandpa Tassos.


  1. Break the bulbs in a mortar and grind them until they become powder (not in the blender it will break it)

  2. Put a cup of water in a kettle, add a teaspoon of Salep and cook on low heat as if you were cooking Greek coffee.

  3. Remove it from the fire, put it in the cup and flavor it to your liking.


For one cup of water

1/2 teaspoon Salep in powder

clove powder


ginger powder

Mastiha powder

sugar or honey to your liking
