A Scottish classic recipe. Mouthwatering all butter biscuits.


Preheat the oven to 160 degrees Celsius with the fan off

Place all the ingredients in a bowl. The butter needs to be cold.

Place the dough between two baking sheets and spread with the rolling pin a sheet of about 0.5 - 1 cm.

Cut into the desired shape and place in the oven

Bake for 35 minutes


225 grams plain flour

225 grams butter

100 grams fine semolina

100 grams sugar

cinnamon (optional)

brown sugar for dusting
