Strawberry Jam by Grandpa Tassos

With just half the sugar!


1. Sterilize the jars in which I will place my jam.

2. Place the strawberries, sugar and vanilla in a saucepan and turn the heat on.

3. Once it starts to boil, boil for exactly 4 minutes, stirring constantly.

4. Turn the heat off, add the zest and lemon juice and skim.

5. Fill the jars.


For 1 kg of strawberries

500 g jam sugar, or 1 kg granulated sugar

1 lemon - zest

Half a lemon juice

1 x vanilla sugar
