Pork with white cabbage from the roaster

Delicious, traditional recipe


  1. Prepare all the ingredients

  2. Sauté the meat and set it aside

  3. Sauté the onion and add the carrots and leeks

  4. Add the garlic and after 1 minute glaze with the wine

  5. Add the cabbage and mix

  6. Once the cabbage has wilted a little, add the rest of the ingredients and mix

  7. Season the meat with salt and pepper and add it to the pot

  8. Preheat the oven at 160° fan

  9. Boil for 15 minutes and then transfer it to the casserole

  10. Bake for 45 minutes and let it rest for half an hour before serving


1,500 g pork meat in pieces

1 medium cabbage

1/2 wine glass olive oil (50 ml)

1 onion

3-4 carrots

2 large leeks

3-4 cloves of garlic

1 wine glass of red wine

1 tbsp tomato paste

4 medium diced tomatoes

1/2 tsp. ground spice

1 tbsp turmeric

1 tbsp chili flakes (optional)

1 tbsp sugar

1 tbsp mixed vegetable powder

50-100 ml of water
