Delicious Keftedes with Creamy Greek Yogurt Sauce

A fantastic recipe


  1. Soak the breadcrumbs in the milk

  2. Chop the onions in the food processor

  3. Drain the breadcrumbs and place them in a bowl with all the minced meat ingredients

  4. Knead and leave in the fridge for 1 hour

  5. Shape and fry the meatballs

  6. In another pan, melt the butter and saute the garlic

  7. Once the butter is fragrant, remove the garlic

  8. Add the cream and mix until it thickens a little

  9. Let it cool and mix with the yogurt and garlic

  10. Pour the sauce over the meatballs


For the meatballs

750 gr. ground beef

3-4 tablespoons breadcrumbs

2 medium onions

1 egg

1 pinch of oregano

1 pinch of sweet red pepper

1/2 cup oil

For the yogurt sauce

200 gr. Greek yoghurt

100 gr. double cream

1 clove of garlic

30 gr  butter

Salt Pepper
