Making the most of your yeast

  Method  

  1. In the bowl of the mixer with the hook attachment, place the flour, the cornflour, the salt and mix.

  2. Mix the water with the yeast and add them to the flour and knead for 10 minutes

  3. Leave it covered to double in volume. (from about 1 to 2.5 hours.)

  4. Preheat the oven to 250 degrees Celsius with the fan off and place a pan with water on the bottom and the dish on which you will bake the breads so that the temperature rises.

  5. Knead and shape the bread.

  6. Place them in floured baking paper and carve them.

  7. Cover with baking paper and let it rest for 20 minutes.

  8. Bake for 20 minutes, lower to 180 Celsius and bake for another 30 minutes

  Ingredients  

800 gr plain flour

200 gr corn flour

600 ml luke warm water

100 gr yeast (frozen)

18 gr salt
