Mini Penne pasta with ham

  Method  

  1. Cut the ham into cubes

  2. Finely chop the onion and garlic

  3. Saute the onion in a little olive oil for two minutes over medium heat. Add the garlic and fry for a minute

  4. Season with salt and pepper and add the cinnamon, allspice, bay leaf and puree and mix

  5. Add the ham and after 3 to 4 minutes add the tomato and stir.

  6. Add the water and the mini Penne and leave until it boils

  Ingredients  

1 cup mini Penne pasta (150 g)

1 can of ham (340 g)

1 medium onion, finely diced

1-2 cloves of garlic, finely chopped

500 ml tomato juice (or grated tomato +1 tsp tomato paste) 

3-4 ground pimento (All spice) seeds

1 bay leaf

1 cinnamon stick

salt and pepper 

olive oil for frying

1 cup of water about 200 ml
